New Results on Nonlinear Control of Mechanical Systems
October 29 and 30, 2026
11:00–12:30 and 16:00–17:30
Universidad Iberoamericana
Special activity: this activity will take place immediately after COMRob 2026, with two sessions each day.
Description
The main objective of this mini-course is to bring to students’ attention some of the most relevant results on nonlinear control of mechanical systems reported in the last ten years. After formally presenting the basic theoretical results, the topics will be illustrated with practical examples, including videos and animations. Precise references will also be provided for further study.
Topics
- Output feedback trajectory tracking.
- Disturbance rejection.
- Flexible robots.
- PID control.
- Multiagent systems.
- Orbital stabilization and non-holonomic systems.
- Parameter estimation and adaptive control.
- Comparative experimental studies.
Limited capacity
Attendance is free of charge, but registration must be requested from Guillermo Fernández Anaya, Ph.D., Chair of the Scientific Committee.
